Family Trip to the Biltmore Estate
Hey everyone, here is a sample of the type of post we all should be doing. This blog should allow us to share our experiences without the trouble of a phone call, or email. Simply check for new posts and comments at your convenience. So, the Atlanta Malkasians took a weekend trip to the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, NC over the Thanksgiving 2005 weekend. The Biltmore Mansion is a total of 175,000 square ft, and has over 250 rooms. This mansion was built as a retreat in the mountains for some rich guy named George W. Vanderbilt. I forget why he was so special, all I know is that he was filthy rich. Maybe someone can comment more on him. The family trip was filled with fine dining, wine tasting, and a complete tour of the mansion's Christmas Decorations. I would suggest checking to see if the "Audio Tour" is available before booking any reservations. I have included a few photos of the trip. Let me know if anyone has questions on how to post a blog, or add photos.

It is a good place to visit without small children. Brian did pretty well, but probably would be better for a couples or girls (spa) weekend). We will definetly be going back - probably when the weather is warmer. -Jen
Also, here are more pictures that I took from the Biltmore trip...notice the picture of the first turkey that I ever cooked! Here is the link - http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=8AauGrNu1cM2Vz¬ag=1
