Myrtle Beach Golf Trip 2006

Here are the long anticipated photos from our visit to Myrtle Beach, SC. Most of you should have received these via email on Sunday.
My portion of this trip started on Friday morning at 5:30am with a 6-7 hour drive. Traffic was horrible for the first 1 hour in Atlanta, and for the last hour entering Myrtle Beach. We were out on the Golf Course within an hour of my arrival. This is the only golf course in the World that requires a gondolier ride from the parking lot to the clubhouse. I shot a 98 with very few mulligans or foot wedges. I am not sure what Mitch or Ryan shot but you can add 5-15 shots to whatever score Mitch reports. Ryan defiantly beat both of us on that first day.
That night we went somewhere for a nice dinner, and then went out to the main nightlife area referred to as "Broadway". There are 20-30 different bars and restaurants in this area. The pictures you see are from either a Dueling Piano bar, or a place called Senior Frogs. The strange wooden man you see is in front of the seafood restaurant we ate at. We ordered a late night pizza (not the one pictured)
The next morning, Ryan woke up early and ran on the treadmill while Mitch and I caught an extra hour of sleep. We then got ready and headed out for a second round of golf. Stopped at McDonald's for a healthy breakfast and then for some cheap beer which we smuggled onto the course. I shot a 99, and took the round. Ryan will have to report on his play for the second day. I will hold my tongue. Cant recall Mitch's score, but again please add 5-15 strokes to whatever he says.
We went for happy hour and appetizers before returning to the room. We went back to Broadway, and had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. Ryan retired for the evening, and Mitch and I had a repeat of the first night. Mitch and I ordered the pizza you see pictured. It was delivered in approximately 9 minutes. We were amazed.
Mitch and Ryan left for the airport at around 8:00am. I slept in as much as I could, but was interrupted about 4 times by the cleaning crew. I finally left the room at 11:15, (15 minutes late). I drove 6 hours back and waited 4 weeks to write this blog. Thank you for your continued patience, and feel free to leave any comments you want.
I would like to suggest an "All Cousins" trip to Chicago some time in late 2006. I have never been, and know most of you are familiar with the area. It should be fairly inexpensive due to its central location to all of us.
